Job role: Front of House Manager Hours: Part-Time, 3 days per week (Tues, Wed and Thurs) Location: Easton, Bristol Salary: up to £35,000 per annum (FTE) / £21,000 pro rata We're looking for part-time Front of House Manager to keep our office and facilities running smoothly to ensure a safe, healthy and productive working environment for our team and visitors. This is a role for someone who has previous office management experience, enjoys being the face of the company and key contributor to our culture and values, whether that's welcoming our visitors, organising socials or keeping our office in tip-top condition. As someone who enjoys variety (no two days are the same), you'll be naturally well-organised with strong administration skills and sharp attention to detail. You'll be the go-to for office and facilities enquires, the person who keeps the office presentable and ensures we keep to health and safety obligations throughout the year. You'll work as part of "The Hub" team which includes Finance, HR and IT and at times, will be required to provide ad-hoc support to the wide PS team. Confident with managing your own workload but also spotting opportunities on where to support further, there are lots of opportunities to develop within the role. Key Responsibilities: Managing the front desk and switchboard to deal with enquiries and welcome visitors. Planning internal and external catering and hospitality for meetings, corporate and social events and workshops, acting as host when required - think Company and Client meetings, Summer and Xmas parties etc. Keeping all areas of the office impeccable and efficiently managing the booking systems. Organising travel arrangements for our team as requests arise. Sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing post and deliveries. Maintaining stock and office supplies. Overall, Health and safety responsibility for the company. Managing key office and facilities contacts and suppliers (such as cleaning contractor, maintenance etc.) Writing and distributing our Company Newsletter. Ad-hoc support for the wider PS team including our Board of Directors. Managing the process around our B-Corp Certification and coming up with new ideas to improve our score. HR administration tasks - such as recruitment, on/offboarding and keeping our internal systems updated (we use BambooHR and SharePoint). An active member of the ISO team - keeping our task planner updated and pushing through on actions to maintain our certification. What you'll need: Demonstratable experience in office management / front of house experience Ability to prioritise your work effectively and work calmly under pressure Excellent standard of written and verbal communication Strong IT skills - we use Outlook, Word, Excel and systems such as BambooHR and Sharepoint. Good problem-solving skills - you can break down issues and present practical solutions. Although not essential for the role, HR administration experience would be advantageous as this role reports into HR. Likewise, prior experience with BCorp assessment process is a big plus to continually improve and maintain our accreditation.
