Fleet Maintenance Controller
Location: Felixstowe, IP11 3HZ
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent
We are seeking a full-time Maintenance Controller to join our busy team in Felixstowe. This is a hands-on role at the heart of our operations, perfect for someone with strong mechanical knowledge and excellent organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Issue authority to suppliers for maintenance and repair work.
* Advise customers on service work, MOTs, and breakdown situations.
* Communicate confidently with drivers, technicians, depots, and customers.
* Assist in the daily running of the maintenance department and take responsibility in the supervisor’s absence.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in fleet or vehicle maintenance.
* Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
* A confident, proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
* The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Working Hours & Benefits:
1. Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:30 pm
