Are you looking to further your career in Technical services? Do you have experience in animal science, attention to detail and great interpersonal skills?
Role
We are recruiting a Technical Team Manager to the Bio-Resources unit to oversee operations and compliance of this specialist animal unit. This is an exciting opportunity to join a small but established team, where you will ensure the safe and efficient day to day running of the facility, delivery of staff and student training, and act as the Home Office Liaison Contact, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation. The successful candidate will be expected to be able to operate independently under the guidance of the Senior Technical Manager and ensure the continued development of the team and facility.
Qualifications
* An IAT level 2 Diploma and IAT accredited NACWO status
* Practical knowledge and experience of specific techniques, skills and material related to the subject area
* Knowledge of current health and safety legislation related to the relevant subject area
* Experience of planning and progressing work activities and managing and prioritising workloads, using initiative and independent judgement
