Location: Sutton Coldfield (B75) • Day Rate: £105 - £115 per day • Contract: Full-time, long-term • Hours: Monday to Friday, Term Time Only • Start Date: ASAP
About the role
Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a primary school setting? We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in the B75 area. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide both 1:1 support and small group interventions, helping pupils build confidence, develop independence, and achieve their learning goals.
Responsibilities
* Supporting pupils with SEN needs in both 1:1 and small group sessions
* Assisting with personalised learning plans and targeted interventions
* Promoting positive behaviour strategies and emotional regulation
* Collaborating with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support
* Creating a safe, nurturing environment where every child can thrive
Requirements / Qualifications
* Previous experience supporting SEN pupils in a primary school
* A patient, adaptable, and caring nature
* Confidence in managing learning and behaviour support strategies
* Willingness to work as part of a collaborative team
* A valid DBS and two references (or willingness to obtain these)
