About MoneyGram Haas F1 Team
2025 marks the tenth season of MoneyGram Haas F1 Team in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship. We are committed to challenging the status quo and invite you to join us. As the first American F1 team since 1986, we debuted with a memorable points-scoring performance at the 2016 Australian Grand Prix. Position Overview
The Accounting Analyst reports to the Accounting Manager in Kannapolis, NC, USA. This role is vital to the daily operations of our finance team, ensuring best practices in processing accounts payable, receivable, treasury, and general ledger transactions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Collaboration: Promote teamwork and effective communication across departments.
2. Accounts Payable: Lead vendor setup, invoice processing, resolving queries, statement reconciliations, and payments. Prepare payment proposals mid-month and at month-end.
3. Accounts Receivable: Manage customer setup, invoicing, resolving queries, statements, and collections.
4. Treasury: Handle payments through banking systems, record bank entries, reconcile statements, manage general ledger entries, and balance sheet accounts.
5. Other Duties: Support credit card and expense reporting, assist with ERP upgrades, prepare audit documentation, and comply with safety regulations.
Qualifications
Preferred candidates will have a college degree in Accounting and at least 3 years of relevant experience.
Skills and Knowledge
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with Microsoft D365 preferred.
* Ability to articulate processes clearly, demonstrate teamwork, analytical skills, urgency, and attention to detail.
* Capable of working under pressure and in stressful situations.
* Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to assist others.
Equipment & Environment
Must have a computer with MS Office and D365. The role requires working in a high-pressure environment, possibly involving domestic and international travel, long hours, and physical demands like lifting up to 50 pounds and manual tasks. The environment includes machinery, race cars, and hazardous materials, requiring adherence to safety policies.
