Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a skilled CNC Turner who is keen to expand their skillset and transition into Sliding Head machining in the near future.
About the Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Turner who is motivated to learn and progress. You’ll join a modern, well-equipped engineering environment, working alongside highly skilled machinists on a wide range of precision components. Our client will provide full training and support as you advance towards becoming proficient in Sliding Head machining.
Key Responsibilities:

Setting, operating, and programming CNC lathes to produce precision components.
*
Working from engineering drawings with strong attention to detail.
*
Ensuring quality standards are met throughout the machining process.
*
Collaborating with the production team to achieve daily targets.
*
Taking part in training on Sliding Head machines as part of your ongoing development.
*
Following all health and safety guidelines and maintaining a clean working area.
What We’re Looking For:

A skilled CNC Turner with proven experience in a precision engineering environment.
*
Confident working from technical drawings.
*
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
*
Someone enthusiastic about developing their skills—especially in Sliding Head machining.
*
Reliable, committed, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
