Locum Consultant positions with time to deliver personalised care at NHS Orkney’s state-of-the-art hospital, The Balfour, opened in 2019. Specialties available include Obstetrics and Gynaecology, General Medicine, Surgery and Anaesthetics. Orkney is a remote and rural care provider in the UK, offering a high quality work environment with views and a strong community spirit.
Responsibilities
* Provide high quality, patient-centred care in your specialist area.
* Work closely with colleagues to deliver exemplary care to the patient group.
* Contribute to a collaborative multidisciplinary team and deliver services as part of NHS Orkney’s care model.
Requirements
* GMC Registration
* Strong general skills in your specialty practice
* Willingness to work in a remote and rural care setting
* Endoscopy practice (if applicable) with JAG accreditation
* Protection of Vulnerable Groups scheme check
* Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to service improvement
