We are looking for warm, compassionate Healthcare Assistants (Care Companions) to join our beautiful Fordingbridge care home in Hampshire.
Working nights, including alternate weekends, you'll play a vital role in supporting our residents to live comfortably, safely, and with dignity—delivering care that is truly person-centred.
Whether you're experienced or just starting your career in care, we provide full training, ongoing development, and a supportive team environment to help you thrive.
About the Role
As a Care Companion, you'll work closely with our Senior Healthcare Assistants and Registered Nurses to provide high-quality care and companionship.
You will support residents with:
Personal care (washing, toileting, oral care, mobility and manual handling)
Emotional and social wellbeing
Daily activities, hobbies, and wellbeing programmes
Nutrition and hydration support
Maintaining accurate care records and reporting changes to nurses
Skin care and pressure area support
Communication with families, friends, and healthcare professionals
You'll also have opportunities to mentor new team members and grow your own skills.
