Job Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Morley, West Yorkshire. Job Title: Lead Veterinary Surgeon
Location: Morley, West Yorkshire
Working Hours: We value work-life balance and offer both full and part-time hours. No out-of-hours work is required, and you will only need to work one Saturday morning (8:30-12:30) every four weeks. 5 day week (40 hours) for a full time role.
Salary: Up to £75,000 DOE
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals.
* Conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries.
* Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
* Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.
* Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
* Veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
* Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
* Compassionate and caring approach to animals.
