As part of a dedicated team, you’ll play a vital role in helping children – particularly in Lower Key Stage 1 – build the strong foundation they need for a successful education journey.
Teaching Assistant responsibilities:
* Provide classroom-based support to ensure all children are engaged and making progress
* Work with small intervention groups or deliver 1:1 support for children with SEN needs
* Help create a calm, safe, and inclusive learning environment
* Liaise with teachers and SENDCo to implement targeted strategies for individual pupils
* Support children’s emotional, social, and academic development for an enriching educational experience
Teaching Assistant requirements:
* Previous experience supporting children in a Primary school setting
* A calm, patient and nurturing approach
* Understanding of SEN needs such as Autism, ADHD, Speech and Language
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
