Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Business Development (50%)
* Influence strategic decision-making and support senior leadership in defining long-term global direction.
* Lead market-entry strategy and go-to-market planning for new countries, regions, and product verticals.
* Present complex strategic materials to internal and external C-suite stakeholders, effectively steering high-level discussions.
* Analyse global healthcare trends to identify opportunities, risks and competitive advantages.
* Shape product positioning for international segments and guide product teams in addressing regional needs.
* Track performance of international initiatives using data-driven insights to refine strategy.
* Support global sales teams with the tools, insights and market intelligence needed to accelerate international revenue growth.
Market Research & Insight (30%)
* Conduct deep-dive research on global healthcare markets, identifying key trends, regulatory shifts, competitive threats and emerging opportunities.
* Use advanced quantitative and qualitative methods to inform strategic recommendations.
* Monitor competitor activity, pricing structures and market share to enhance competitive positioning.
* Apply analytical thinking to identify system-wide opportunities across industry, government, and technology.
Relationship & Stakeholder Management (20%)
* Manage relationships with C-level executives and regional general managers, supporting future strategic direction in each market.
* Work cross-functionally with sales, product, engineering, PMO and strategy teams to align regional growth plans.
* Act as a central liaison between internal teams, local market partners, government bodies and healthcare providers.
* Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships and surface risks, milestones and opportunities affecting global growth.
* Identify strategic partnerships to drive market penetration and strengthen regional presence.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Strategy, Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management or related field.
* A number of years in strategic planning, market analysis, or business development within the healthcare sector, with strong international exposure.
* Experience in a top-tier consultancy, delivering projects within healthcare.
* Demonstrable experience in large-scale programme delivery and business case development.
* Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills, including financial modelling and market evaluation.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence across cultures and senior levels.
* Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
* Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., BI, Tableau) and intermediate Excel skills.
Desirable Experience
* MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
* Experience in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment.
* Highly numerate, with experience in valuation analysis and financial modelling.
* Familiarity with market research platforms (e.g., Gartner, Forrester, CB Insights).
* Additional language skills (Spanish advantageous).
