Overview

Civil Enforcement Officer. Permanent, full-time (37 hours per week) with a welcoming approach to applications from those who wish to work part-time or job share. Salary: £27,694 to £29,540 per annum.

We do things well and keep developing. If you enjoy being active and working outdoors, have excellent customer service and communication skills, and like helping people, we would love to hear from you.

You will patrol our car parks and issue Penalty Charge Notices. You should have experience dealing with members of the public, be able to handle difficult situations calmly, and work both independently and as part of a team.

To be successful in this role

* Have a good standard of numeracy and English literacy skills.
* Be able to remain calm and work well under pressure.
* Have demonstrable customer care and communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
* Have the skills to deal with members of the public in a sympathetic and tactful manner.
* Have good knowledge of the local area.
* Have a full valid driving licence.
* Be able to work well on your own as well as part of a team.
