Alan Howard Ltd are the leading supplier to the Hair and Beauty trade. We are a family run business trading for over 50 years and employing over 300 employees across the UK
Due to rapid growth of our online and internet business, we are currently looking for a Full Time Order processor / picker in the mail order department at our central distribution centre in Stockport, this will be a fixed term 12 month temporary contract.
The Role will Include the following duties:
* Picking / packing and dispatching of a high volume of orders
* Answering customer telephone calls and taking payments
* Booking courier collections
* Manual handling and carrying of loads up to 30kg
Key Skills:
Qualifications are not necessary but a willingness to adapt and a desire to make sure customers' needs are met is vital. The right candidate should have:
* Good Communication Skills and a friendly telephone manner
* The ability to communicate with all levels of the business
* Numerical skills
* Computer literate.
Relevant experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
