About the Job
The International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO) is increasingly working with education systems, including governments, international organisations and non‑profit organisations, to support education reform where there is alignment with an IB education. The Senior Education Systems Solutions Manager plays a leading role in shaping and delivering high‑quality education system solutions that are credible, evidence‑informed and contextually relevant, and that can deliver meaningful educational impact.
Working in close partnership with regional teams and subject matter experts, the role leads the design of complex consultancy solutions, contributes to the wider Education Systems Solutions offer, and provides technical leadership for delivery where opportunities progress into live projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of education system solutions that respond to complex client needs and are grounded in research, international practice and contextual understanding.
- Shape technically robust and externally credible proposals for governments, international organisations and non‑profit organisations, especially for complex or high‑profile opportunities.
- Work in close partnership with regional teams throughout opportunity development, client engagement, solution design and delivery.
- Engage credibly with senior external stakeholders to understand reform priorities and support strong, context‑sensitive solution development.
- Provide technical leadership for projects involving solutions you have designed, ensuring quality, relevance and responsiveness during delivery.
- Contribute actively to the wider work and development of the Education Systems Solutions offer.
Qualifications
- Degree qualified in Education, International Development or a related field; a postgraduate qualification would be an advantage.
- Strong background in education system improvement, ideally with expertise in curriculum and/or assessment.
- Substantial experience in education consulting, programme or project management, solution development or a related field, ideally in an international context.
- Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work credibly with senior external partners.
- A strategic, collaborative and adaptable approach, with the ability to balance educational impact, contextual understanding, delivery feasibility and practical implementation.

Benefits – The Hague
- Annual salary in the region of €60,015 – €82,521, negotiable dependent on experience
- Annual pay review
- Relocation support and work permit sponsorship available
