Job DescriptionBased at Environment Department, you will work full time, 37 hours per week average (39hours April-September, 35hours October-March).

You will have Burial Qualification, eg ICCM; COTS/Customer Care and PA1A & PA6A weed killing certification.ResponsibilitiesYou will undertake various disciplines of Cemetery/Gravedigging work and also work within general open spaces within the Environment Department, ensuring the required standards of workmanship are achieved.The IndividualYou will have the ability to drive/operate all relevant plant, eg compact tractor, excavator, pick-up, van, ride on grass cutter, various small plant and digger banks.
You will have knowledge of memorial safety.
You will have the ability to work without supervision, be mechanically minded and a good communicator. The ability to work under pressure and the ability to deal with the public in a polite and courteous manner is also essential.
You will have the ability to work outdoors in all weathers and have a full driving licence.
