Whatyou'll do
We’ll be asking youto lead our data management governance strategic direction, metricsand working practices across the Fraud Prevention COE. You’llprovide data quality insights and make sure that guidance materialsand resources are readily available to leadership teams and theircolleagues, so that we can improve data quality and help boost dataliteracy across ourorganisation.
As well as thisyou’llbe:
* Establishingcontrols and governance practices to make sure we’re complying withthe data management policy
* Building and leadinga data quality centre of excellence, providing capabilities todetect data quality issues
* Establishing thedirection and services to continuously improve user access andentitlement management over banking platforms andsystems
* Representing the current statesituation of data management and data quality, includingperformance against targets, emerging risks and issues, atbank-wide risk governancemeetings
Theskills you'll need
Crucial toyour success will be your experience of driving data management anddata quality improvement initiatives to meet long-term goals. Alongwith coaching and mentoring experience, you’ll have a background inbuilding support and engagement for solutions by sharinginformation and taking an active leadership role incross-functionalactivities.
You’ll alsoneed:
* The abilityto communicate the context of data issues to senior leaders inorder to gain their support to driveimprovements
* Broad knowledge of data managementprinciples, coupled with the ability to see the biggerpicture
* The ability to leverage best practiceand apply appropriately to continuously improve our data governanceand data quality framework
* Experience ofcommunicating complex subjects in a simple and accessible way tosenior and generalist audiences
* The ability tomake complex decisions and using a broad range of factors todevelop solutions
