Ashley MOT & Service Centre is offering a rare opportunity for a Trainee Vehicle Technician to join our busy, family-run workshop. This is a hands-on role where you will learn on the job, working alongside experienced technicians and gradually building your skills in servicing, repairs and diagnostics. Our aim is to support the right person in developing into a confident Senior Diagnostic Technician over time.

The role
Working under supervision, duties will include:
* Assisting with vehicle diagnostics, servicing and repairs
* Assist senior technicians with routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks
* Use hand tools and power tools to perform basic repairs and adjustments under supervision
* Support the diagnosis of common vehicle issues using diagnostic equipment
* Learn to replace parts such as filters, brake pads, and belts
* Follow health and safety procedures at all times during work activities
* Document work performed accurately in accordance with company standards
* Adhering to health and safety procedures
* Daily workshop maintenance and housekeeping

* Driving licence preferred (not essential for the right candidate)
