Overview
A well-established law firm with an office in Bridgwater is seeking a Residential Property Paralegal to join its conveyancing team. This role is ideally suited to a Law Graduate or candidate with legal experience who is looking to build a career in residential property law within a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting fee earners with residential conveyancing matters
* Supporting transactions including sales, purchases, re‑mortgages, and transfers of equity
* Preparing conveyancing documentation and correspondence
* Conducting property searches and reviewing title documents
* Raising and responding to routine enquiries
* Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and third parties
* Updating files and maintaining accurate records on the case management system
* Ensuring compliance with firm procedures and regulatory requirements
Candidate Requirements
* Law Degree or equivalent legal qualification
* Basic understanding of residential conveyancing processes
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Good organisational skills with attention to detail
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Willingness to learn and develop within a residential property department
