We are working with a school in the Wigan area who are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who is passionate about early childhood education to work within their KS1 class. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to make a real difference. This position is to start in September on a full-time temporary contract with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate.
Your new role
* Support the development of children's social, emotional and motor skills
* Support the teacher in delivering the curriculum
* Ensure all children are engaged in learning and activities
* Develop children's language skills
* Work with smaller groups to support their learning development
* Support the teacher in managing classroom behaviour
What you'll need to succeed
* Full right to work in the UK
* DBS
* Experience working with young children
* Level 2 TA qualification desirable
* Compassionate and Patient
* Great communication skills
* Proactive and enthusiastic
