HGV Class 2 Driver - Temp to Perm Opportunity - Newbury.
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver on behalf of our client based in Newbury.
This is a fantastic 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity for an HGV 2 driver with an immediate start available.
Further Information About The Role:
* Monday to Friday
* Typical working hours: 08:00 - 18:00
* Delivering stones, gravel, turf, and garden furniture
* Deliveries to both residential and commercial customers
* 10-12 drops per day
* Vehicle will be pre-loaded, however you will be required to unload using pump trucks and tail lifts
* This is a hands-on HGV 2 role requiring good time management and customer interaction
Pay & Benefits:
* £17.00 per hour (standard rate)
* Overtime available:
o Saturdays: £25.50 per hour
o Sundays: £34.00 per hour
* Weekly pay
* After 12 weeks (permanent contract):
o Salary increases to £33,164.04 per year
o £50 weekly attendance bonus
Requirements:
* Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
* Valid CPC qualification
* Valid Digital Tachograph Card
* Minimum 1+ year HGV Class 2 driving experience
