Infinity Employment are seeking a CNC programmer with waterjet programming experience to join our Aerospace Engineering client based in Leicestershire. We are looking fora specialized professional who creates and optimizes CNC programs for waterjet machines, ensuring precise and efficient cutting of various materials.They are responsible for translating technical drawings into G-code for the waterjet, optimizing cutting paths, and troubleshooting any issues that arise during the cutting process.The contract will be for 6-12months. - LTD Pay £25.00 - £30.00 depending on experience. - 40 hours Monday Friday - Key Responsibilities: Program Waterjet Machines: Develop and modify CNC programs for waterjet machines, including setting cutting parameters, optimizing paths, and ensuring safety. Analyse Technical Drawings: Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to accurately program the waterjet machine for the desired cuts. Optimize Cutting Paths: Enhance cutting sequences to minimize waste, improve material usage, and reduce production time. Troubleshoot and Refine Programs: Diagnose and resolve issues related to waterjet cutting, refining programs to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Collaborate with Other Teams: Work with sales, engineering, and production teams to ensure efficient production and customer satisfaction. Maintain and Improve Processes: Identify and implement process improvements to optimize waterjet cutting operations. Skills and Qualifications: CNC Programming Experience: Proven experience in programming CNC machines, including waterjet machines. CAD/CAM Software Proficiency: Familiarity with CAD/CAM software for designing parts and generating CNC code. Waterjet Expertise: Experience with specific waterjet software and equipment (e.g., FlowPath, FlowCut, FlowXpert). Technical Drawing Skills: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to waterjet cutting. Organizational Skills : Ability to manage job orders, process schedules, and maintain efficient time management. Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with other teams. Experiencerequired: Proven knowledge of waterjet programming 5 axis r gem software awareness / competence Inventa file manipulation Excel computer-based skills Good communication Proficiency in using SolidWorks for design and programming purposes. Familiarity with hand tools and basic maths for measurements and calculations. Experience in materials handling, fabrication, and assembly processes Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
