Duties
* Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
* Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls and taking messages as necessary.
* Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
* Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper documentation review.
* Handle patient inquiries regarding care plans, insurance, and medical services.
* Perform clerical duties including filing, typing, and maintaining office organization.
Skills
* Proficient in medical terminology and documentation review.
* Experience with medical collection processes and patient service skills.
* Familiarity with EHR systems and health information management practices.
* Bilingual abilities are a plus for improved patient communication.
* Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
* Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
