Maintenance Engineer
Denham | £40,000-£43,000 | Permanent | Days
We're partnering with a globally recognised aerospace manufacturer in Denham to recruit a Maintenance Engineer. This role focuses on planned preventative maintenance and first‑line breakdown support across a range of production equipment used to manufacture safety‑critical components for military aviation.
Key responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance across a variety of manufacturing and workshop machinery
* Complete routine servicing, inspections, and scheduled maintenance tasks
* Provide first‑line fault‑finding and breakdown response
* Deliver both electrical and mechanical maintenance within the production facility
* Use hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and general testing devices
* Maintain equipment to a high standard, minimising downtime
* Work in line with Health & Safety regulations and ensure machinery compliance
Required experience
* Background in maintaining production, manufacturing, or industrial equipment
* Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills
* Confident using hand tools and general electrical/mechanical testing equipment
* GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent)
* Good manual dexterity
