Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting for an experienced SEN Coordinator to join the Special Educational Needs Service at Enfield Council. This role is integral in supporting the Local Authority's statutory responsibilities for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). You will be responsible for managing the assessment and placement process for children and young people with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), ensuring statutory deadlines are met and provision is appropriately arranged and monitored. Key Responsibilities: Deliver a comprehensive service to fulfil Enfield's statutory SEN duties Manage statutory assessments and annual reviews of EHCPs Ensure timely and appropriate placements for children and young people with EHCPs Liaise with schools, families, professionals, and other local authorities to coordinate support Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with legislation and policyRequirements: Previous experience working in a local authority SEN or EHCP team Strong understanding of SEND Code of Practice and statutory processes Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet deadlines Excellent communication and organisational skillsAdditional Information: Hybrid working arrangement: 1 to 2 days per week onsite at Enfield Civic Centre Candidates must be available to work full-time Immediate start preferredTo apply or learn more, please contact: 📞 Mayur Raba...
