Training Administrator, Temporary, £11.44 per hour
Your New CompanyHays are partnering with a public sector organisation to recruit for a temporary Training Administrator. You will provide support in relation to key areas of work such as recruitment, trainee assessment and regional teaching processes.
Your New Role
1. To deal with general incoming telephone calls and emails as appropriate, ensuring prompt action is taken
2. To assist with the co-ordination and servicing of the Annual Review
3. To assist with the organisation of Boards and Training Committees
4. To support the education management of exam preparation and training courses within specialties.
5. To maintain and update the electronic records and databases.
6. To maintain and update systems for trainees and manage trainee queries.
7. To ensure that trainees are issued with appropriate induction information and documentation on appointment and coordinate return of induction information.
8. To coordinate travel arrangements
9. To provide support for colleagues at events.
10. To handle a broad range of enquiries to the department and support colleagues as required
11. To work collaboratively and support colleagues as required throughout the organisation.
12. Prioritise own work within a general schedule and may allocate work to other staff on a daily and weekly basis to meet deadlines.
13. Forward planning for days, weeks and year ahead regarding upcoming events and meeting requirements within department.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
14. 2 years’ experience in a similar position
15. 2 year’s experience working with Microsoft Office
16. Ability to use own initiative and work independently or as part of a team to ensure that performance targets and objectives are met.
17. Ability to prioritise work to achieve set deadlines.
18. Effective communication skills, orally, written and electronically.
