We are hiring an Assistant Buyer to work within the Footwear team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ranges directly impacting sales across our stores and websites, ultimately contributing to the growth of the business.
Responsibilities
1. Support in the creation of the seasonal Footasylum Buying Strategy for your Product Division through research and analytics.
2. Assist in seasonal buying meetings with third-party brands and own brands, aligning with key stakeholders (e.g., Merchandising, Other Divisions, GPM, Marketing).
3. Support in SMU creation with relevant brands for your Product Division.
4. Manage the seasonal Product File for defined brands, including leading seasonal sign-offs (pricing, distribution, etc.).
5. Maintain ongoing contact with third-party brands outside of buying seasons to meet product needs and foster positive relationships.
6. Contribute to the development of direct reports and junior team members through coaching and HR tools (PDPs, Check-ins, etc.).
7. Lead research into consumer and brand trends within your Product Division, sharing insights with stakeholders.
8. Monitor business performance continuously and implement relevant action plans.

Applicants should have experience in a buying role and possess excellent Excel and Power BI skills.
