Patients are at their most vulnerable when they come in for surgery, often anxious and scared. You'll be a key member of the surgery team helping and supporting patients before during and surgery. You will be responsible for providing, compassionate, high quality safe care whilst working in an acute fast-paced environment. Patient safety and good practice depends not just on highly performing surgeons', but also on effective surgical team working that enhances the performance of the team.
What you can add:
* Undertake nursing assessment and evaluation to enable development of appropriate plans of care based on the needs of the individual.
* Be proficient in the delivery of care to patients.
* Ensure safe administration of drugs in accordance with NMC and CHS policies.
* Ensure accurate records are kept in accordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines.
* Carry out nursing procedures and techniques in accordance with agreed policies and standards.
* Undertake regular mandatory training
What you'll need:
* HCPC Registered and Diploma HE or equivalent Degree
* Excellent Attention to detail
* Experience (Relevant to the role)
* To react quickly, keep your concentration and be methodical, all while working under pressure in a rapidly changing environment
* Be able to Multitask and be a great team player
In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of:
· Relevant Qualifications
· Registration with the relevant Registration Body
