Are you an experienced and compassionate nurse looking to develop your skills in a specialist setting? We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our dedicated Urology Outpatients Team, supporting patients undergoing Local Anaesthetic Transperineal (LATP) biopsies and flexible cystoscopy procedures.
Youll be part of a forward-thinking multidisciplinary team committed to delivering safe, effective, and person-centred care. This role involves clinical support and patient coordination for urology diagnostic and treatment clinics, particularly LATP and flexible cystoscopy services. You will play a key role in maintaining patient dignity and comfort while assisting with minor surgical procedures and consultations.
Main duties of the job
Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate individualised nursing care for patients attending urology outpatient procedures
Prepare and manage clinical environments for LATP biopsies and flexible cystoscopies
Assist urologists with procedures, including patient positioning, local anaesthetic administration, and equipment handling
Deliver patient education and aftercare advice
Ensure effective infection prevention and control measures
Accurately document care delivered and contribute to quality improvement

Experience
* 2 years minimum experience within an Outpatient setting
* Currently practicing or has practised within Urology outpatients, for a minimum of 6 months, over the last 12-month period.
