Full-Time Support Worker - 5-Bed Mixed Gender Children's Residential Home
Location: Stanford-le-Hope, Essex
Position: Full-Time - 12-Hour Shifts (7am-7pm & 7pm-7am, including weekends & sleep-ins)
Salary: £26,325 per year (plus overtime and sleep-in enhancements)
Start Date: Immediate start available
Your Role
* Deliver high-quality, personalised care to children and young people of all genders
* Support with personal care, education, social skills, and daily living activities
* Promote independence, positive behaviour, and emotional wellbeing
* Maintain accurate records and work within safeguarding frameworks
* Participate in community activities and outings
* Work flexibly across 12-hour shifts: Day shifts 7:00am-7:00pm; Night shifts 7:00pm-7:00am; Including weekends and sleep-ins on a rota
* Overtime available
Essential Requirements
* Experience in a residential care setting
* Full manual UK driving licence held for 2+ years with no points
* Clean Enhanced DBS and right to work in the UK
* Full flexibility to work across day, night, weekend, and sleep-in shifts
* Strong communication and team-working skills
* Commitment to safeguarding vulnerable children
Desirable
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it)
* Understanding of autism, sensory needs, and positive behaviour support
