Permanent Veterinary Nurse - Kendal, Cumbria

We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Kendal, Cumbria for a Permanent Veterinary Nurse to join their team.
This role is full time for 4 days per week with shifts from 8:30am to 5:30pm, along with 1 in 6 Saturday mornings. There will be one later shift until 7:30pm per week. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

The role:
7. The role will involve a variety of duties including inpatient care, lab work, diagnostics and assisting in theatre.
8. This role is ideal for a motivated and ambitious nurse who has a good range of skills and someone who would like to make a difference and share and promote new ideas.
9. The RVN will be expected to be dedicated to providing a high standard of patient care and be able to work well as part of a team whilst establishing excellent working relationships with clients.
10. The role offers flexible work patterns to suit around lifestyle, school runs and school holidays.

11. First opinion practice based in Kendal, close to the Lake District, with two sites
12. Nurse training practice.
13. They focus on sick pets but also have a bias towards preventative medicine which is mainly run out of their branch surgery.
14. They are fully equipped offering state of the art facilities and veterinary services including ultrasound, endoscope, digital x-ray, dental suit and an in house laboratory. They also carry out orthopaedic work at one of their sites.

21. The practice are looking for a confident and enthusiastic nurse who has a good range of skills.
22. The nurse will have great communication skills and organisational skills and be able to work independently and also as part of a team.
23. They will provide an excellent service to all clients and be able to build rapport easily.
Package
24. Salary: Up to £29, per annum, commensurate to experience
