£378.57 per day PAYE or £500 per day limited paid via umbrella company inside IR35
Our client is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager. Key things are to have used and provide examples of using the PCR and different tender techniques. This role will involve competitive flexible tender process and in one case the participation in and organise dialogue sessions so an understanding of having experience in this would be beneficial as it can be quite unique within Housing and the Place categories.
Person specification:
* Minimum levels of knowledge, skills experience and qualifications required for this job.
* Ability to influence in developing and delivering the most appropriate procurement strategies and solutions.
* Ability to apply negotiation skills to achieve the optimal commercial solutions whilst maintaining credibility and supplier relationships.
* Exhibit the professional behaviours of integrity, objectivity, confidentiality, and competency in accordance with the expectations of the role.
* Excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate effective communication at all levels (including senior management, service managers, staff, members, customers, and contractors).
* Problem solving – Ability to understand differing priorities that often conflict and be able to devise solutions that achieve value for money whilst ensuring continuity of supply.
* Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the organisation ensuring engagement at appropriate times and appropriate management levels.
* Able to plan multiple activities in a logical manner ensuring key deliverables and timelines are identified and appropriate budgets are in place.
* Demonstrate effective use of Office 365 (incl. Teams, OneDrive, etc.) or willingness to undertake training during the probation period.
