Responsibilities
* Create a safe, fun and engaging learning environment.
* Encourage students to participate, focus on and engage in their learning.
* Follow intervention plans while also making use of restorative practices and therapeutic techniques to ensure a positive experience at school.
* Promote healthy coping strategies and support conflict resolution.
* Support in tracking and relaying feedback to the class teacher and other multidisciplinary professionals that support the students.
Qualifications
* Passionate about helping vulnerable students.
* Has a positive attitude and is keen to make a difference.
* Has a good understanding of safeguarding when working with vulnerable children.
* Has a genuine passion for supporting learning and mental health needs.
* Holds an enhanced DBS certificate or is willing to apply for one.
