The Opportunity
We are looking for a strategic and commercially-minded Product Specialist/Sales Specialist Manager to join one of the world's leading technology platforms. This is a high-visibility, 12‑month maternity cover role focused on driving video advertising growth within the UK's most prestigious retail accounts.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Sales: Refine and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies for the UK market, focusing on a high-priority portfolio of retail clients.
* Expert Pitching: Build and deliver compelling narratives to C-suite stakeholders, showcasing the unique value proposition of our video and brand solutions.
* Revenue Growth: Partner with internal account teams to expand "wallet share" and shift budgets from traditional TV/AV toward digital video.
* Product Advocacy: Act as a thought leader on the latest video features and ad formats, educating both internal teams and external agency partners.
* Consultative Insights: Use data‑driven deep dives to provide tactical recommendations that solve complex business challenges for major retailers.
What We're Looking For
* Media Landscape Expertise: 8‑10 years of experience within TV, Social Video, Digital, or Programmatic media.
* The "Agency DNA": Ideally, you come from a Media Agency background (e.g., AV Manager, Business Director, or Commerce Planner) or a similar role at a major tech platform.
* Commercial Polish: Proven experience in client-facing roles with a track record of pitching and closing high-value branding agreements.
* Sector Knowledge: Experience working with the Retail sector is highly advantageous.
* Collaborative Mindset: Ability to influence cross-functional teams and navigate a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
Role Details
Duration: 12‑month fixed‑term contract (Maternity Cover).
Schedule: Hybrid (Tuesday‑Thursday in-office; Monday/Friday remote).
Start Date: Mid-April (Urgent hire).
