Job Description
Purpose of the post
* Receive experience and support to complete an apprenticeship and gain qualifications in the field
* Provide a blended service combining administrative work at a desk with practical support in the community, promoting independence through technology.
Main Duties
* Support social services in meeting care needs and promoting independence of Gwynedd residents via telecare and assistive technology solutions.
* Combine technical and community work: installation and repair of telecare equipment, administrative tasks, and travel to appointments across the county.
* Shadow staff in finance, contracts, commissioning of care, and quality assurance units.
* Assist with scheduling appointments, handling enquiries, system administration, and managing stock and equipment.
* Support projects that promote independence such as direct payments and digital initiatives.
* Understand data handling processes and contribute to performance work.
* Follow Council policies on health and safety, equality, data protection, and carbon reduction.
