Job Description


About the opportunity

You’ll join the Salesforce team within the Global Technology team — the team that provides expertise and support to our various business verticals. More specifically, you will play an important role in leveraging Salesforce to enable these business verticals to support our customers and achieve business KPIs.

Reporting into the Manager of Applications - Engineering, you'll play a key role in driving business efficiency by leveraging Salesforce products. Your responsibilities will include gathering user requirements and feedback, managing the incident queue, and supporting platform enhancements. As our team places strong emphasis on user experience, you’ll be responsible for handling support tickets, delivering user training, and developing solutions that prioritise satisfaction and usability.

Some other responsibilities include:

1. Triaging support tickets submitted by users, completing them or escalating to senior admins
2. Fulfilling business as usual type requests like user creation, permission and queue assignment or data management
3. Identifying and gathering requirements from users and stakeholders with help from Revenue Operations Business Analysts
4. Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards and reports, sharing rules
5. Documentation of training materials
6. Testing deployments before they are released


This is a fully remote role, available to candidates who are based in the UK and have full legal working rights to work in the UK.


Qualifications

We’re looking for a proactive team player who’s passionate about continuously improving and enhancing our Salesforce platform, with a strong desire to learn and grow. We’re also seeking someone who has:

7. Salesforce product knowledge and at least 1 year of hands-on experience as an administrator, delegated administrator or power user
8. Experience working with tickets on a help desk or customer support team
9. Certified Salesforce Administrator
10. Trailhead Superbadges and Trailhead Ranger
11. Active in the Salesforce Community (Trailblazer or others like the Ohana slack, Facebook groups etc.)
12. Available and responsive to questions from users and the team
13. Requirement gathering and note taking skills
14. Excellent relationship building and communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels
15. Training and training material creation skills
16. Understanding of the Salesforce security model and staying up to date with upcoming changes to it
17. Salesforce configuration knowledge around fields, page layouts, lightning app builder, record types, out of the box automation tooling like lead/case assignment rules, case escalation rules, entitlement processes, reports and dashboards
