We are looking to recruit an Inspector to ensure compliance of inspected components to customer’s specification.
Main responsibilities:
* Carry out accurate and efficient component inspection
* Maintain component identification
* Maintain inspection records
* Liaison with production with regard to priorities and customer requirements.
* Ensure that any equipment used is within calibration and in good condition
* Ensure that any specification used is the correct issue
* Final release of customer product
* Creating TDC/build sheets/loading plans
* Periodic checks and calibrations
* Hardness testing
* Follow company health & safety procedures
* Follow company environmental procedures.
* Comply with all quality system requirements.
* Maintain good working practices and housekeeping
Qualifications, experience and skills:
* No formal qualifications required but evidence of good general education standard
* Experience in the use of hardness testing equipment preferred
* Experience in dimensional inspection preferred. Good eyesight (WI33)
