Registered Midwife - Maternity Outpatients
About the role
Maternity Outpatients is located offsite at 1011 Mair St, Ballarat, providing antenatal care, lactation clinics, childbirth education, and domiciliary care. The roster may include some weekends; however, the hours of operation are mostly 0830-1700hrs, Monday to Friday. Weekend duties include domiciliary care and some childbirth education.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide antenatal care in high and low risk clinics.
2. Deliver domiciliary care, including early postnatal care at the home for mothers and neonates.
3. Work within a multi-disciplinary team and coordinate care.
4. Engage and communicate effectively with all team members and allied health clinicians.
Skills and experience
1. Recent antenatal care experience is recommended.
2. Training will be provided for domiciliary care and childbirth education.
3. Current APHRA registration as a Midwife.

This position is paid according to the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2020-2024. The classification is Registered Midwife Grade 2 (YS2-YS8), with hourly rates ranging from $41.17 to $50.68.
