The Role 3 YEAR TERM, 4 SESSIONS PER WEEK You will work closely with executive directors, senior managers and clinicians across NHS Borders and partner organisations. You must be a qualified G.P. / G.D.P., with a high level of interpersonal, strategic and technical skills combined with a supportive leadership style. You should have a track record of developing and implementing strategies and can demonstrate achievement in this area. You will also have demonstrable evidence of effective leadership, integrity and management skills. The responsibilities and working pattern are flexible to enable you to continue to devote clinical time to a practice or other sessional work, and would be recorded in an agreed job plan. The time commitment is negotiable – as a minimum the post will require 16 hours per week or 4 X 4 hour sessions This would be an excellent opportunity for a hands-on G.P./G.D.P. seeking a step towards a leadership role. Whilst there are some core deliverables, there can be flexibility in the responsibilities depending on the individual strengths, expertise and interests of the successful candidate.
