We’re delighted to be partnered with a manufacturing organisation in Solihull, and we’re looking for someone who’s passionate about doing procurement the right way … collaboratively, strategically, and with people at the heart of it.
You’ll take ownership of the Indirect Procurement function which is a small team of talented Buyers. From facilities and equipment to maintenance and professional services, you’ll make sure the business has what it needs to run smoothly, efficiently and cost‑effectively.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Developing and delivering sourcing strategies for key indirect categories
* Leading negotiations and managing supplier relationships
* Monitoring supplier performance and ensuring KPIs are met
* Driving cost‑saving initiatives without compromising quality
* Analysing spend and identifying opportunities to improve
* Supporting internal stakeholders with supplier selection and procurement activity
* Reporting on savings, performance and strategic progress
We’d love to speak with you if you have:
* Experience in indirect procurement within automotive, manufacturing or similar sectors
* Strong people‑leadership capability and a passion for developing others
* Confident negotiation skills and strong commercial awareness
* A calm, solution‑focused approach in a fast‑paced environment
* Excellent organisation and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
* A degree or MCIPS qualification (great to have but not essential!)
