Job title: Admin/Office Manager
Trust: Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
Hours: Monday, Thursday & Friday within core office hours but needs to be a morning start, 5 hours per day e.g. 9am - 2pm - up to 15 hours per week
Responsibilities
* The Administration Manager is responsible for ensuring the organisation and delivery of a coordinated and responsive administrative and clerical service in a manner consistent with Trust and local policies, procedures, and protocols.
* Lead and motivate the team members within an admin team environment to deliver administrative support to a range of specialty based clinical services.
* Manage teams' performance and deliver activity within agreed standard operating procedure and to defined quality standards.
* To develop, review and promote best working practice, implementing change and contributing to policy where necessary, ensuring standards and protocols are in place across the Directorate.
* Take an active role in the implementation of staff development & improvement of services.
* Ensure the flexible use of administration staff to meet the developing needs of the service.
* Work with and be a point of contact for the administrative teams across the multi-site directorate to assist in ensuring enquiries are managed appropriately.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a managerial role, within healthcare.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette.
* Previous NHS experience.
* Preparation of MDTs
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
