R S Skips Ltd is an established skip hire & waste management company based in Shorne, Kent. We are seeking to employ an experienced Admin Assistant to join our friendly team. Experience in the waste/skip hire or transport/haulage industry would be preferred. Job Description Processing orders via email, phone, and online Scheduling and organising driver sheets General admin work Responsibilities Processing orders via email, phone and online Allocating jobs to drivers Applying for skip road licenses Keeping social media up to date Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. Keep the vehicle and drivers data up to date Other Admin Duties Requirements & Skills A team player with high-level dedication Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, enthusiastic, and professional manner Someone who is a bright, confident, and self-motivated individual Can work under pressure in a busy, fast-paced condition Can multi-task Able to work independently Able to work well in a team, share responsibilities, communicate well, and offer assistance to other members of staff when required Have knowledge of the use of social media Basic computer skills required: Microsoft, Outlook etc Experience preferred but not compulsory, in the waste, skip hire, haulage, or transport industry. Training will be provided on our bespoke transport software. Must drive due to the office location in Shorne. There is no public transport available in the area.
