About the Role
As an ICT Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching across Key Stages, ensuring students are engaged with interactive lessons in Computing, ICT, and digital literacy. You will encourage problem-solving, innovation, and collaboration in the classroom, while supporting students’ progress and preparing them for future success.
Main Responsibilities
* Deliver inspiring ICT lessons across school’s Key Stages.
* Plan and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
* Encourage students to develop confidence in using technology and digital tools.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Contribute to the wider school community and uphold school standards.
Requirements for an ICT Teacher
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification in ICT/Computing.
* A background in Science, Engineering or Technology is preferred.
* Previous teaching experience in ICT within UK schools is essential.
* Strong classroom management and communication skills.
* Enthusiasm for technology and digital innovation in education.
* Have an updated CV and an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
