You should be genuinely committed to supporting people to live their best lives and be flexible to work on a rota. You'll receive support from an approachable management team, helping you expand your knowledge and develop new skills.
About Us – Dumfries and Lockerbie
We support people with mental health issues, physical health challenges, and learning disabilities through a 24/7 residential service. Support roles may include sleepover shifts, for which you will receive an additional payment of £100.80 per shift, on top of your hourly rate of £12.60.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing personalized support to adults with diverse needs, either individually or as part of a team.
* Supporting individuals in the community, engaging them in hobbies, and promoting their independence and growth.
* Attending community groups, accompanying service users to activities like cinema trips, swimming, or community projects, and supporting holidays and trips.
* Assisting with personal care to ensure comfort and wellbeing.
* Celebrating achievements and milestones to foster a positive environment.

We offer salary matching within the pay scale, and IT skills are required for all roles. Successful candidates may need to register with the SSSC within six months of starting.

This position does not require a valid UK driving licence or access to a vehicle. Personal care, cooking, and housekeeping skills are included in the role, but service users are not involved in these tasks.
