Overview

We are seeking a trainee assistant.

We work with block management companies and manage maintenance contracts and contractors.

We are looking for someone to help with site visits to collect information to quote for works.

No construction experience is necessary as you will only be collecting information.

We work within an app that records defects and job information. That information then gets relayed to the estimator for quoting.

The candidate should be organised, be competent on a phone and laptop and be able to use their own initiative. It helps to have a fairly likeable personality and to be a bit ambitious. Confidence and a bit of cheek is encouraged. We are looking for someone who can have a laugh, it's not always about being serious.

Responsibilities

* Meeting tenants / block directors and recording defects.
* Updating information within our software to ensure all parties remain updated.
* Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify issues that require attention.
* Collaborate with employees as necessary to be able to update property and block managers.
* Keep accurate records of work completed, ongoing and assisting with booking of upcoming works.
* Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their needs and preferences.

Experience

* People skills are highly desirable as we are communicating via email and phone all day.
* A valid driving licence is a must for transportation between job sites.

Wages for the initial role are £100 per day with potential to increase as you expand your role if you so wish.

A driving license is a must.

Working hours are 9 to 5.

A fuel allowance will be paid and a laptop will be provided.
