About The Role
At GSF Car Parts, our Warehouse Operatives play an important role within the team by ensuring orders are picked, packed, and ready for delivery to our customers. They champion customer service through efficient warehouse stock coordination and understand the importance of delivery timeframes. As a Warehouse Operative working on a zero-hour/casual contract, you will support the branch in covering holidays or absences.
Main Duties include:
* Checking and storing supplier-delivered parts
* Picking and loading vans accurately and promptly
* Checking customer returns for resale, warranty, or surcharge
* Verifying stock quantities against the computer system and ensuring proper storage in designated locations
Working hours: Up to (average) hours Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday work, depending on branch coverage needs.
About You
What you'll need to succeed:
* Proven experience in a fast-paced warehouse or similar environment
* Ability to work well under pressure
* Team player mentality
* Efficient work ethic with attention to detail
* Understanding of customer service and deadlines
* Basic numeracy and literacy skills
* Good communication skills
* Knowledge of car parts and the automotive industry (desirable)
