The Opportunity
If you are an ex-accountant with a passion for technology and practice transformation, you could be our ideal Product Specialist. You will leverage your practice experience to influence our product roadmap and serve as a subject matter expert.
Key Responsibilities
* Own the practice management product roadmap with clear ROI metrics, guiding our product’s strategic direction.
* Conduct customer research and competitive analysis to inform product decisions, engaging with stakeholders and users to gather insights.
* Manage relationships across Engineering, Sales, Support, and Partners to ensure alignment.
* Prioritize and maintain the product backlog aligned with business goals.
* Collaborate with product owners and UX designers to ensure specifications meet standards.
* Lead go-to-market strategies and product launches to ensure successful market entry.
Deliverables
* 12-month product roadmap with prioritized features and business cases.
* Market and competitor analysis reports.
* Customer research insights and requirements documentation.
* Go-to-market execution plans.
* Regular stakeholder communications and progress updates.
* Product performance tracking and ongoing optimization.
The Person
* 3+ years of experience in a product specialist or related role.
* Experience working within an accountancy practice and familiarity with practice management software.
* Proven experience implementing software in practice environments, understanding integration within an accounting tech stack.
* Knowledge of agile development practices is preferred.
* Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
