Our client an established engineering manufacturer is seeking a skilled and motivated Production Engineer to join their growing team in Worthing. This role involves hands-on assembly, testing, and quality assurance of engineered products, working closely with technical documentation and customer specifications. The successful candidate will play a key part in delivering high-quality products and supporting continuous improvement across the business. Key Duties : Interpret and fully understand project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and scope of supply. Build components and assemblies to defined dimensions and tolerances, following all approved procedures. Conduct product testing in line with customer-approved testing procedures, often in the presence of customers or third-party inspectors. Perform paint preparation and painting in accordance with customer and internal procedures. Accurately record all productive and non-productive time to support correct cost allocation. Ensure all work complies with the company’s Quality Management System and relevant industry and HSE standards. Take responsibility for the quality of your own work and contribute actively to ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
