About The Role
Applications are invited for the post of Research Technician (Zebra-Fish) within the Department of Life Sciences, at the University of Bath. This hands-on post is an exciting opportunity to work in a varied and interesting environment, supporting and enhancing world-class research.
Working with academic staff and the zebra-fish group, this post holder will support a research group that studies intestinal development and health in the zebrafish model. The post holder will have a demonstrated expertise in zebrafish handling, genetics, and husbandry with a particular emphasis on imaging of fixed and live tissue using light-sheet and conventional fluorescence microscopy. Prior experience working with the local fish community is preferable.

About You
You will be experienced in providing technical, teaching or research support in a Higher Education or industry-based organisation. With strong academic and practical knowledge of biomedical science, genetics or molecular biology you will also have:
