Trainee Recruitment Consultant – Academy Programme
Location: Harrogate (office-based)
Package: Competitive base + uncapped commission + fast-track development

Our client is a specialist SAP / IT recruitment business with offices in the UK and mainland Europe and a growing presence in the US. They partner with major organisations on ERP and technology projects across the UK, Europe and North America.
They are now investing in their academy programme – a structured route to develop raw sales talent into high-performing recruitment consultants.

Key Responsibilities
* Learn the full recruitment lifecycle from experienced consultants (full training provided)
* Speak to candidates daily, qualifying skills, motivations and career goals
* Use phone, LinkedIn and social media to identify and approach talent
* Write and post job adverts that attract the right candidates
* Shortlist and present candidates to consultants for live vacancies
* Build long-term relationships with candidates in the SAP / IT community
* Gradually take on more responsibility for account management and business development as you progress
What they’re looking for
* Some sales, telesales, call centre, SDR or customer-facing experience is ideal, but not essential
* A genuine desire to work in sales and earn excellent money through your own results
* Confident, articulate communication style – especially on the phone
* Strong organisation skills – able to plan your day and follow through
* Resilience, positivity and the ability to bounce back from setbacks
