Hays are thrilled to be partnering with our client - a large local accountancy practice for a senior appointment within their tax team., based in Belfast, you will be working within the busy and growing Personal tax team. Thepany are in a phase of continued growth and require a senior body to continue momentum in the business as a whole. For the correct candidate, you can expect to be made an equity partner within three years.
Your new role
As a Personal Tax Partner You will advise on a range of tax issues for personal tax clients, You will help clients gain cost savings through the implementation of advice including assistance with self assessment tax returns, advice on Inheritance Tax Planning and Capital Gains Tax amongst other technicalities including dealing with clients of high net value tax affairs. You will manage managers and contribute towards the strategic objectives of the firm and can expect to be rewarded for your business development capabilities.
What you'll need to succeed
You will hold an ACA / ACCA / CTA / ATT qualified or equivalent qualification and will have excellent current knowledge of UK tax well-thought-out approach toplex problems based on sound judgement and research,municating with empathy and impact. In addition, you will have a tenacious spirit in the face of adversity, taking personal responsibility, an enthusiasm to pursue business opportunities and better develop self and team working in a respectful and co-operative manner and an ability to analyse client problems, integrate information and provision of clear and consistentmunication.
